Hello everyone, I am Maggie Tian, a yoga coach who is passionate about yoga and dedicated to helping others improve their physical and mental well-being through yoga. I obtained my 200-hour Yoga Alliance certified yoga instructor qualification in January 2019, but my yoga journey began as early as 2010. Since then, yoga has not only become a part of my life but also a bridge for me to share health and balance. Over the past five years, I have been teaching various styles of yoga, including but not limited to Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa Yoga, Yin Yoga, and Power Yoga.
My teaching philosophy is that yoga is not just about practicing poses; it is a lifestyle, an art of connecting the body, mind, and breath. In my classes, I focus on proper alignment of poses and breath control, while also encouraging students to listen to their bodies, respect their limits, and gradually improve.
I believe that everyone can benefit from yoga, regardless of age, gender, or fitness level. My goal is to create a supportive and non-competitive environment where everyone can explore and practice yoga in a safe and comfortable atmosphere.
I look forward to growing with you on this yoga journey, both on and off the mat. Let’s breathe together, flow together, and find inner peace and strength together. Thank you all!
Is a slow-paced, meditative practice that focuses on deep stretching and relaxation. Unlike more dynamic yoga styles, Yin Yoga involves holding poses for extended periods—typically between three to five minutes—allowing the body to release tension and improve flexibility. This practice targets the deep connective tissues, such as fascia, ligaments, and joints, promoting greater mobility and circulation. By surrendering into each posture, practitioners experience a profound sense of stillness and restoration.
Beyond its physical benefits, Yin Yoga is a powerful tool for mental and emotional well-being. The long-held poses encourage mindfulness and inner awareness, creating space for deep introspection. The practice teaches patience, acceptance, and the ability to find comfort in discomfort, helping to reduce stress and anxiety. Paired with conscious breathing, Yin Yoga allows for a calming experience that resets the nervous system and fosters a sense of balance.
Ideal for all levels, Yin Yoga complements more active workouts and lifestyles by providing the body with much-needed recovery. It is especially beneficial for those looking to enhance flexibility, relieve tension, or cultivate a meditative practice. Whether used for physical release or inner peace, Yin Yoga offers a gentle yet transformative experience that nurtures both body and mind.
